Its simplicity is both graceful and harmonious and seems to fill everyones soul with calmness.

The kitchen is the heart of any home, so too at The Journey Home. Our caregivers and volunteers prepare home cooked meals all dayeveryday for our guests and their families. We prideourselves in our kitchen and the coziness it brings to our families who are grievingtheir loved ones, and believe we bring them solace where theyc a n join and reminisce.

We pride ourselves in the way we feed our guests and their families. We feel the same pride in our dining room where people gather to eat and share, laugh and cry. It is a room that should be full of people and comfort like home. Many of our guests have told us how wonderful it feels to sit together and share a meal and stories about their loved one being taken care of in the room next door.

The last three rooms in the house, the Sunroom, the North Room, and the Sitting Room, are like most homes, comfy, cozy and there is always a place to sit. Whether it be with others or by yourself, these three rooms beckon you to come in, take your shoes off and sit awhile. We know how hard it is to be spending your last days with your loved one but we hope these rooms help just a little.
